The
Freedom Alliance Foundation,
is a non-profit organization founded by Lt.
Col. Oliver North in 1990. “We will work
to keep America strong, keep America prosperous,
and keep America free," said North upon
the founding of the Freedom Alliance. And so
they have in several different ways.
The Freedom
Alliance's Scholarship Fund is available
to children of 100% disabled veterans. The hardship
of a person being disabled in the line of duty
often doesn’t stop with that person, but
is also experienced by the family members who
rely on that person’s care, nurturing
and yes, livelihood. The Freedom
Alliance recognized this chain of events
reaction and offer their own support to that
situation. They started the Freedom Alliance
Scholarship Fund. Using only donated money,
they select young men and woman whose parents
have been disabled while being in the line of
duty in a military.
The Freedom
Alliance’s Scholarship Fund takes
great care in selecting young adults who want
to further their education. By showing initiative
in their own lives, young adults who are responsible
and accountable have another chance to be acknowledged
and supported to further their education. In
addition, parents can be empowered that they
can still make a contribution to their child’s
education. By donating money to The Freedom
Alliance Scholarship Fund, people have another
way to support education and the troops.
